Preheat oven at 200/210°C.
Roll out the pastry and brush with the beaten egg.
Sprinkle generously with Grana Padano and the herbs/spices of choice (For instance: sesame or poppy seeds, curry, cumin, oregano, rosemary etc.)
Fold the pastry over and roll out again then cut the pastry into strips, twist each strip a few times. Sprinkle again, if wanted, with a few more herbs, spices or salt and pepper to taste
Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes 200/210° until golden.
